About the role
This position is responsible for assisting esthetician instructors in administrative tasks and ensuring the classroom and labs are clean, prepared, and ready for use.
Responsibilities
- Assist Program Coordinator and instructors with general office and administrative tasks including organization, maintenance, and inventory management of the lab and clinic areas.
- Follow the Department of Professional and Occupational Board of Barbers and Cosmetology regulations.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment, including ensuring equipment and tools are maintained properly.
- Assist in maintaining daily students’ attendance records in support of instructors and Program Coordinator.
- Notify Program Coordinator of any current or potential issues which warrant attention.
- Attend in-service training as required.
- Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have education and/or professional experience in the skin care field.
- Must be a licensed Master Esthetician.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
- Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams; CampusNexus experience a plus.
- Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally or overnight occasionally for business.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Pay
Up to $16 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
