About the Role

Provides a warm welcome and fond farewell experience daily for all Residence Owners, their guests, and vendors. Validates all guests and vendors have permission to be on property. Anticipates potential problems and reacts to disturbances and prohibited conduct. Responds to emergency situations as needed. Offers information and assistance to all Owners, visitors, and vendors. Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests, residents, and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and secure experience for Residence Owners, guests, and vendors.
  • Validate permissions for all guests and vendors on the property.
  • Anticipate and address potential problems, disturbances, and prohibited conduct.
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Offer information and assistance to Owners, visitors, and vendors.
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and minimize loss or damage.

Work Environment

  • All areas of the Estates and surrounding property.
  • Variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
  • Variable noise levels.
  • Outdoors and indoors.
  • Involves running, extensive walking, and standing for long periods.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: All Estates Staff.
  • External: Residents, residents’ visitors, Police Department, Fire Department, vendors, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Criminal-free record.
  • High school graduate.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal).
  • Legible communication and directions.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to:
    • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
    • Prioritize, organize, and follow up.
    • Remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
    • Follow directions thoroughly.
    • Understand visitor and resident service needs.
    • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Maintain confidentiality of resident, departmental information, and pertinent resort data.
    • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications (Desirable)

  • 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with computers and property management systems.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry in a similar position.
  • Previous guest and resident relations training.
  • Certification in computers, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid.
  • Knowledge of local laws, investigative methods, and fire safety.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

Physical Abilities

  • Exert physical effort in transporting 35-40 pounds.
  • Endure various physical movements throughout work areas.
  • Reach up to 2 feet.
  • Remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, residents, management, and co-workers.
  • Walk for extended periods.
  • Run up stairs.
