Job Responsibilities

  • Online Estate Auctions:
    • Organize & sort household goods for distribution & sale
    • Decluttering - separating low, medium, & high value items
    • Taking & editing digital merchandise photos on a handheld device
    • Prepare description of items and upload photos
    • Greet customers and provide service during auction pick up
    • Cleanout at end of sale
  • Relocations and Right-Sizing:
    • Proper packing techniques used for relocation
    • Unpack & resettle in new home
    • Decluttering and downsizing assistance
    • Moving supplies/boxes within a client’s home

Qualifications

  • Compassion and respect for clients and their families
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment with bending up and down, moving household items around and being on your feet for several hours at a time
  • Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency
  • Trustworthy, reliable, self-directed
  • Ability to complete tasks and work in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments (gloves, aprons, etc provided)
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Punctual and attentive to detail
  • Have reliable transportation and smart phone access

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Be on your feet for the majority of the day
  • Enjoy a fast-paced work environment

Skills

  • Knowledge of antiques, collectibles and/or household goods (a plus)

Benefits

  • Part-time on an as needed basis with potential for promotion in to a team lead role after training and experience
