Job Responsibilities
- Online Estate Auctions:
- Organize & sort household goods for distribution & sale
- Decluttering - separating low, medium, & high value items
- Taking & editing digital merchandise photos on a handheld device
- Prepare description of items and upload photos
- Greet customers and provide service during auction pick up
- Cleanout at end of sale
- Relocations and Right-Sizing:
- Proper packing techniques used for relocation
- Unpack & resettle in new home
- Decluttering and downsizing assistance
- Moving supplies/boxes within a client’s home
Qualifications
- Compassion and respect for clients and their families
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment with bending up and down, moving household items around and being on your feet for several hours at a time
- Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency
- Trustworthy, reliable, self-directed
- Ability to complete tasks and work in fast-paced, changing environments
- Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments (gloves, aprons, etc provided)
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Punctual and attentive to detail
- Have reliable transportation and smart phone access
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Be on your feet for the majority of the day
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment
Skills
- Knowledge of antiques, collectibles and/or household goods (a plus)
