Responsibilities

• Estate Planning Reviews – Review trusts (revocable and irrevocable), wills, and ancillary documents and break out the information into our deliverable.
• Flowchart the existing documents to show what happens at the death of each beneficiary.
• Proposed Estate Planning Strategies – Work with estate planning attorneys to include potential strategies for asset protection, income tax, or estate tax concerns and incorporate their observations.
• Create a new master flowchart depicting what the overall proposed strategies would look like.
• Case Management - Update the status of current cases and ensure all cases are being managed efficiently.
• Communication – Communicate with affiliated advisors and attorneys to ensure their questions are answered and the cases are moving along.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in estate planning.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in reviewing trust structures, coordinating documentation, and managing follow-through across complex workflows.
• Core understanding of revocable trusts and sub trusts created within them.
• Highly collaborative with experience in servicing the needs of affluent and institutional clients.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving, and effective decision making.
• Ability to multi-task and follow up.
• Polished presentation skills and ability to interact with sophisticated clients and advisors.

Preferences

• Certified Paralegal or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with Brentmark, Number Cruncher, or other software used for estate tax strategies.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $83,739.00 - $139,565.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
