About the role
We are seeking an experienced Estate Administrator to support our Trusts & Estates practice. This position involves managing all aspects of estate administration while working closely with attorneys, clients, personal representatives, and beneficiaries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex, high-net-worth estates with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Administer estates, including complex and high-net-worth matters
- Draft and interpret estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and related filings
- Prepare and file probate court documents, estate tax returns, and accountings
- Collect, value, and transfer assets; fund marital and tax-exempt trusts
- Manage estate and trust accounts, including distributions, payments, and reconciliations
- Coordinate with accountants, advisors, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth administration
- Maintain accurate records, meet filing deadlines, and support attorneys throughout the process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of five years' experience in estate administration, preferably within a law firm, bank, or trust company
- Strong knowledge of estate and tax processes; experience with state and federal estate tax returns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail
Skills
- Familiarity with tax or accounting software (e.g., CCH Axcess) preferred

Pay
$75,000 - $130,000 per year
