About the role

An established neurology group practice in the beautiful suburbs of Detroit is excited to welcome a general and/or fellowship trained neurologist to join their practice consisting of five neurologists. The group consists of 5 neurologists and specializes in helping people who suffer from conditions such as stroke, neck and back pain, seizures, movement disorders, headaches, and traumatic brain injuries.

Responsibilities

• Treat an entire spectrum of neurological conditions (general neurology)
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities (approximately 50/50)
• Perform and interpret nerve conduction studies/EMGs (preferred, not required)
• Read routine EEGs (preferred, not required)

Requirements

• Fellowship training in any neurological subspecialty is a plus but not required

Pay

• $350,000 guaranteed annual salary for physicians who interpret EMGs (yearly base salary increases of $50,000, maximum base salary $450,000 plus incentive‑based bonus)
• $325,000 guaranteed annual salary for physicians who do not interpret EMGs (yearly base salary increases of $25,000, maximum base salary $400,000 plus incentive‑based bonus)
