About the role

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and special education settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed teacher in planning and implementation of educational programs.
• Support development and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Work in both general and special education settings.

Requirements

• Meet ESSA proficiency requirements in reading, writing, and math for paraprofessionals in Title I funded schools.
• Provide documentation (transcripts and/or test results) to verify ESSA requirements.

Pay

Hourly range: $24.03 – $30.65.

Schedule

• 6.25 hours per day.
• 188 days per year.
• Temporary position with benefits.
