About the role

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs in both general and bilingual education settings.
• Work closely with licensed teachers to support the educational goals of the classroom.
• Provide assistance to students who require additional support to achieve academic success.

Requirements

• MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE SPANISH AND ENGLISH FLUENTLY
• Bilingual Assessment Will Be Required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills

• Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
