About the role

Instructional Assistant - ESSA position is a classified role supporting licensed teachers in planning and implementing educational programs, assisting with instructional activities, maintaining a safe and healthy student environment, and performing general clerical duties. The position is temporary with benefits, scheduled for 8 hours per day over 188 days per year.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed teacher in planning and implementation of educational programs.
• Support instructional activities in accordance with prescribed lesson plans.
• Help provide a safe and healthy environment for students.
• Perform various general clerical duties.

Requirements

ESSA documentation is required. Applicants must meet ESSA proficiency requirements in reading, writing, and math and provide transcripts and/or test results to verify compliance.

Pay

Hourly range: $20.72 – $26.56.

Schedule

8 hours per day, 188 days per year.
