ESL Instructor (TESOL Certified) | Part-Time | Remote (U.S.)

Responsibilities

• Teach Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL courses to adult learners in an online environment.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with learning objectives.
• Deliver engaging, student-centered virtual lessons focused on real-world communication.
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Adapt instruction to accommodate varying proficiency levels and learning styles.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and student progress records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive online classroom environment.
• Collaborate with management to support student success and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification.
• Minimum of one year of ESL teaching experience preferred.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging and interactive virtual instruction.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Google Meet, Google Workspace, and other online learning platforms.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience teaching adult learners online is an asset.

Compensation and Employment Type

Employment Type: Part-Time (W-2).

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday.

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).

Work Location

Remote (United States).

Candidates must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

UpSkill Consultancy is seeking a dedicated Remote ESL Instructor to deliver engaging online English language instruction to adult learners across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced proficiency levels.
