We at Morning Star School, Tampa, are seeking an ESE Teacher to instruct English Language Arts to 4th - 6th graders with learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• State certification in Special Education
• Proven experience working with students with exceptionalities
• Experience teaching reading and writing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
• Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with assistive technology
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Understanding of diverse learning styles
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
