About the Role

ESE Program Specialist Vacancy Pool for the 2026-27 school year. Position is located in Exceptional Education & Student Support Services with a 1.00 FTE and a 196-day calendar.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education, Reading, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling, Psychology, or select core subject area 6-12 (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies) preferred.
• Four years of experience as a special education teacher, writing individual educational plans (IEPs), and facilitating professional learning.
• Understanding of instructional design and experience utilizing web-based data systems and spreadsheets with a variety of technology applications.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers and instructional support staff.
• Ability to plan and facilitate groups to achieve desired outcomes in implementing instructional change.
• Florida Teacher Certification in Exceptional Student Education.
