Responsibilities
- Performs dismissal cleaning in assigned areas based on priority and established standards.
- Documents the completion of dismissal cleaning.
- Completes patient, public, and office areas daily according to set standards and records for review.
- Takes down and replaces cubicle curtains as requested or scheduled.
- Maintains strict confidentiality at all times.
- Develops and maintains professional working relationships with hospital personnel, co-workers, visitors, and patients.
- Maintains assigned hospital equipment in good repair and condition and completes work orders for repairs.
- Delivers clean linen to floors, picks up soiled linen, and returns soiled linen to Linen Services.
- Drives hospital vehicles as needed and as licensed and insured.
- Reads and reviews policies and guidelines and regulatory requirements for infection control and general safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
- Valid New Mexico’s Driver’s License preferred.
