About the role
Provides escrow services for residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinance, relocation, and timeshare transactions. Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process.
Responsibilities
- Handle real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the company.
- Understand how your team integrates with related teams to accomplish objectives.
- Impact the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team through your own work.
- Recognize and solve atypical problems that occur infrequently.
- Evaluate and select solutions from existing precedents or procedures.
- Communicate and explain complex information, including interdependencies within the team and others.
- Work under limited supervision and may use discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced team members; does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience.
