Cennox is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Security Installer to join our growing Electronic Security team. In this role, you'll install, service, and maintain a variety of security systems for commercial customers, including intrusion detection, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.

Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections on contracted equipment
- Install, dismantle, and rebuild security equipment according to project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Test and verify system functionality, including communication with monitoring and signal-receiving centers
- Coordinate installation schedules and communicate directly with customers regarding project timelines
- Prepare job estimates and documentation as directed
- Maintain accurate installation records and project documentation
- Work collaboratively with project teams on larger commercial installations
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards
- Keep work areas clean and free of installation debris
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and construction drawings
- Experience working with electronic security, low-voltage, electrical, or related systems
- Knowledge of surveillance, intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and security technologies
- Basic understanding of electronics, wiring methods, and applicable local and national codes
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six to twelve months of apprenticeship, technical training, or classroom instruction preferred OR two to four years of electrical, low-voltage, security, or electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous training or experience within the electronic security industry
- State licensing or certifications, where required
- Experience working in commercial installation environments
- Manufacturer certifications and low-voltage experience are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed
- Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
- Vision correctable to 20/20
