About the role
Seeking a Physician Assistant for inpatient trauma surgery coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma surgery coverage during day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Manage a variable case load across all ages in a high-acuity environment
- Work alongside a support team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 6 Medical Assistants (MAs) in an on-site setting
- Utilize prescriptive authority with required board certification
Requirements
- Board certification in relevant specialty
- Experience in inpatient trauma care preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Schedule
- Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- Ongoing coverage starting as soon as possible
