Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery in a structured environment
- Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation
- Administer medications and respond appropriately to emergencies and crises
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Attend trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must meet driving requirements
- Willingness to complete DHS training after hire
