About the role
Join a healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical nursing, providing direct patient care in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Apply standards of medical-surgical practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.
- Build effective relationships with patients, families, and the care team to develop personalized care plans.
- Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Consider physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and developmental factors in care strategies.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team and advocate for patients’ needs.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
- Mentor colleagues and foster a positive work environment.
- Apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
- Perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current RN license in the state or a Compact State and Basic Life Support certification.
- No prior experience required.

- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks routinely.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Night shift with self-scheduling.
