Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status by gathering information from patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare team, including education and follow-up needs.Implement: Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively.Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, revising care plans as necessary.Professionalism: Uphold legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote nursing practices. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transferable within 60 days.BSN required within four years for less experienced RNs.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and accountability. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, communicate, and operate equipment effectively.Manual dexterity for handling equipment and supplies.Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy environments.Driving may be required.
