ERP Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist to own and optimize our Epicor ERP environment, delivering reliable system functionality and reporting to support manufacturing operations. This role will design and maintain business processes, develop queries and reports, build integrations, and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective ERP solutions. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical skills (Epicor, SQL, C#, reporting) with practical manufacturing knowledge and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Epicor ERP modules to support day-to-day business operations and manufacturing processes.
• Design, develop and maintain BAQs (Business Activity Queries) and BPMs (Business Process Management) to automate workflows and surface critical data.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting and integrations.
• Create, deploy and maintain reports using SSRS and Crystal Reports to meet operational and management reporting needs.
• Develop and support integrations between Epicor and other systems using C# or middleware as needed.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes or workarounds in coordination with IT and business users.
• Plan, test and execute system upgrades, patches and configuration changes with minimal disruption to the business.
• Document configurations, customizations, processes and technical solutions; maintain knowledge base and runbooks.
• Provide end-user training, support and change management to ensure adoption of ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, supply chain, finance) and external vendors to deliver ERP initiatives on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Epicor ERP (or similar ERP systems) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience developing BAQs and implementing BPMs in Epicor.
• Advanced SQL skills (query tuning, stored procedures, data modeling) and experience with relational databases.
• Experience building reports using SSRS and Crystal Reports.
• Proficiency in C# for integrations, customizations or automation tasks.
• Familiarity with ERP concepts, manufacturing processes (MRP, BOM, routing) and production floor systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to train and support non-technical users.
• Epicor certification, ERP project experience, or experience with BPMS tools is a plus.
