Ralph Lauren’s Next Generation Transformation (NGT) strategy is a major, multi-year enterprise transformation program focused on modernizing the company’s technology, processes, and operating model. This transformation will unlock several strategic outcomes, including global standardization, improved data and analytics, omnichannel excellence, and enablement of the long-term growth strategy. The core operating systems of the company—SAP, Island Pacific, and Microsoft D365—will be replaced with a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, SAP S/4HANA, as part of the ERP+ program.
About the role
Ralph Lauren is seeking a highly organized and results-driven leader with a proven ability to support programs by driving program operations, contractual and financial discipline, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve program outcomes. This role serves as the bridge between Program Leadership, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading contract management and financial operations while driving alignment, collaboration, and execution across stakeholders, business teams, IT, and external partners. They will balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution to drive alignment and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes. This role will act as the operational backbone of the Enterprise PMO, ensuring accurate data, visibility, and adherence to established processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including contract execution, renewals, amendments, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Govern the development, review, approval, and execution of Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Orders, and contract extensions.
- Manage overall execution plan of all contracts, extensions, approvals, ensuring timely delivery.
- Partner with Procurement, Legal, vendors, and systems integrators (SIs) to negotiate, review, and finalize contractual agreements.
- Maintain centralized contract repositories, tracking tools, and approval workflows to ensure compliance, transparency, and traceability.
- Manage contract-related documentation and approval processes, including DocuSign workflows and audit support.
- Validate vendor invoices against contract terms, approved budgets, and delivered services.
- Partner with Finance and Procurement to ensure proper funding allocation, financial controls, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Support budget monitoring needs, analyze variances, identify financial risks, and provide recommendations to support program objectives.
- Manage relationships with vendors and systems integrators to ensure contractual, staffing, and delivery commitments are met.
- Coordinate staffing requests, contract changes, resource replacements, and workforce augmentation activities with external partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and support issue resolution, escalation management, and operational alignment.
- Ensure vendor resources are effectively onboarded, managed, and transitioned in accordance with program requirements.
- Establish and maintain resource burn management reporting, enabling proactive monitoring of spend, capacity, forecast accuracy, and staffing needs to support informed decision-making.
- Lead staff augmentation and workforce planning activities to support program delivery needs.
- Manage resource demand planning, contractor sourcing, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding readiness.
- Maintain the Master Resource Roster and open position tracking across internal, external, and contingent workforce resources.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and program leadership to support recruiting efforts and staffing strategies.
- Support the implementation and govern vendor timesheet management processes to ensure accurate time reporting, validation, approval workflows, cost tracking, and alignment with contractual agreements and budget controls.
- Track future workforce requirements with program leadership to proactively address staffing gaps.
- Provide operational leadership and support across program planning, governance, vendor coordination, resource management, and business operations.
- Establish and maintain operational processes, governance controls, reporting mechanisms, and program tracking tools.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure compliance, access management, and seamless resource transitions.
- Support program readiness for new project phases, organizational changes, and emerging business needs.
- Deliver reporting, operational metrics, and insights to enhance program visibility and decision-making.
- Lead change control governance by assessing, tracking, and managing the financial, resource, and contractual impacts of program changes, ensuring all scope adjustments are appropriately approved, funded, and reflected in program budgets, forecasts, and vendor agreements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase program efficiency, effectiveness, and operational maturity.
- Standardize processes, tools, templates, and governance practices across contracts, financials, and resource management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce administrative effort, and improve stakeholder experience.
- Implement best practices, lessons learned, and process enhancements to strengthen program execution and operational performance.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the program organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years in PMO, Program Operations, Business Operations, Commercial Management, or Transformation Programs.
- 3+ years in a management role, leading, motivating, and developing teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Experience supporting contracts, financial governance, resource management, and vendor management.
- Able to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.
- Comfortable working with executives, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of improving processes through data-driven insights.
- Effective at stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, and influencing without authority.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience, with the ability to manage external partners and deliver results in dynamic environments.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and results-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
