ER Technician - Full Time Days

About the role

The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients, assisting the healthcare team with personal assistance, equipment and supplies care, and clerical and nursing support services.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-licensed direct patient care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
• Assist the healthcare team by offering personal assistance to patients, including care of patient, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform clerical and nursing care support services.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of phlebotomy training within six months of hire.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy proficiency preferred.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Previous nursing assistant experience.

Schedule

• Full‑time position with 12‑hour day shifts.
• Shift hours: 7 am – 7 pm.
• Typically three shifts per week with weekend rotation.
