ER Tech Full-Time Day Shift MMH

Responsibilities

• Work in a 48-bed, full-service Emergency Department, treating patients of all ages.
• Assist with the implementation of supportive clinical care, including strong clinical skills and clerical/courier duties.
• Perform stocking, transporting, EKGs, phlebotomy, IVs, and specific patient care duties.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• Required: High School Diploma/GED or Vocational/Technical School/Diploma or completion of an approved ENP-P or EMT-I course, Nursing Assistant course, documented training and experience as an armed services medic/corpsman, or documentation of final year in an approved nursing program leading to RN.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Required: State of Florida EMT, EMT-P, CNA, or MA License.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
