ER Registered Nurse (PRN/Day Shift)

About the role

The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.

Responsibilities

• Perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Assess patients' conditions and develop treatment plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree, required; BSN, preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
