ER Registered Nurse

Job Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Requirements Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department (ER/ED). Active California Registered Nurse (CA RN) License. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI. Must receive the flu vaccine; no exemptions permitted. Required skills: IV starts, telemetry (tele), and conscious sedation. Trauma and triage experience highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and prioritize care based on acuity. Initiate IV access and administer medications and treatments as ordered. Monitor cardiac rhythms and assist with conscious sedation procedures. Respond to emergencies and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
