ER Registered Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the Emergency Department in a community hospital setting. Cross-training to the Medical-Surgical floor is required, and support may be provided there as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Implement nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient responses
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR/AED certification
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond quickly in emergencies

Qualifications

• Emergency Department or ICU experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
