ER Nurse - Full-Time Swing Shift

About the role

Provide comprehensive nursing care in a small-format hospital emergency department, focusing on patient assessment, planning, and evaluation. Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate care in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Observe and record patient signs and symptoms
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Follow physician orders and collect lab samples
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures
• Participate in quality assessment activities
• Attend staff meetings
• Perform assigned tasks as needed

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current RN licensure
• 2+ years of ER or similar experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from recognized organizations
• Fluency in English
