ER Nurse - Contract

About the Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy 30-bed ER, including medical and psych beds. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Accurately document using EPIC electronic charting
• Participate in POD nursing assignments
• Adhere to safety and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with certifications such as AHA ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNS or TNCC, and NIHSS
• Contribute to positive patient outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year ER experience in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to manage an average of 120 patients daily
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
