ER Mental Health (RN) (FT) (NIGHTS)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
• Experience: No experience needed; less than 2 years preferred for higher education.
