Veterinary Website Development Specialist
EVCC is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Website Development Specialist to join our team. We are a leading provider of veterinary website solutions and are looking for someone who can help us continue to grow and innovate in this field.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with WordPress, SEO best practices, and mobile responsiveness is preferred. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom websites for veterinary practices
- Ensure all websites are optimized for search engines
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in web development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Strong understanding of SEO principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Understanding of database management and SQL
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana)
