Responsibilities

• Secure favorable terms for equity transactions by choosing the right brokers, timing, and trading systems.
• Analyze market trends, news, and economic events to determine the best-performing products and pricing.
• Recommend and implement updates to internal policies, procedures, and programs to enhance trading efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure all trading practices align with regulatory requirements and complete monthly compliance reviews and reports.
• Oversee and execute lead equity, fixed income, and cash trades.
• Research settlement issues and perform portfolio analysis to recommend new investments or potential sales within your assigned sector.
• Demonstrate a willingness to engage daily with street equity research sales teams and effectively share relevant information with the Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Series 65 license required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in security trading.
• Advanced knowledge of equity securities, including mid and small cap stocks.
• Advanced knowledge of the capital investment markets.
• Proficiency with computer-based trading systems, especially Longview.
