Equity Trader Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Support traders by accurately capturing trades in the firm's internal systems.
• Generate and run reports to assess and calculate risk exposure.
• Validate market data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare and distribute profit and loss (PnL) reports.
• Monitor and track trading positions for expirations and other lifecycle events.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Trade Support, as a Trader Assistant, or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Equity Derivatives products and Payoffs.
• Familiarity with Medium Term Notes (MTNs).
• Proficiency with various industry trading platforms and utilities (e.g., MarketWire, Sophis, Bloomberg).
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) and Series 99 certifications are mandatory.

Pay

The salary range for this Associate-level position will be between $105,000 - $120,000. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
