Equity Research Senior Associate/Vice President - Semiconductors, Semi. Cap Equipment (US)

About the Role

Jefferies is seeking a Senior Associate/VP for its Semiconductor and Semiconductor Capital Equipment Equity Research team, which covers 30+ stocks. The candidate will support the Equity Research team in delivering extensive company and industry research, constructing detailed financial models, and marketing written research recommendations to clients and institutional salespeople.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of earnings and valuation models
• Analysis of industry trends and compilation of findings
• Production of weekly and monthly written research publications
• Development of marketing materials for clients
• Development of relationships with management teams and industry contacts
• Communication of stock views and industry themes to institutional investors, trading desks, and other internal constituencies within Jefferies over time

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, electrical/computer engineering, finance, math, or other quantitative fields
• 3-6 years of experience in Equity Research or Investment Banking
• Semiconductor industry or research experience is a plus
• High fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis
• Superior financial statement modeling skills with demonstrated self-auditing abilities
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and focus on teamwork
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intellectual interest in equity markets and technology

Pay

Full-time salary range of $135,000 - $175,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
