Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain earnings, valuation, and industry models using skills in accounting, finance, and economics.
  • Write research reports for new coverage, analyze data, earnings results, and industry news.
  • Leverage all available resources to create differentiated content for research reports (company-specific or industry).
  • Interact with institutional investors, providing models, reports, and data analysis responses.
  • Stay updated on industry-related news and its implications for companies under coverage.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel and company management.
  • Conduct industry diligence and primary research through surveys, expert conference calls, and various channels to evaluate industry trends.
  • Assist internal sales and trading teams in analyzing breaking news in the sector.

Requirements

The candidate must have 2 to 7 years of professional experience in Equity Research, Accounting, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or the Banking Industry. Strong experience writing industry-related analysis for the global banking industry is required. Technical training in financial modeling, accounting, and valuations, as well as the ability to interpret macroeconomic developments, is preferred. CFA and/or CPA certification is advantageous. Spanish or Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.

Skills

Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Pay

Base pay for this role ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 annually, with individualized determination based on experience and performance.
