Description & Requirements

The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing quantitative equity index methodologies, including factor and multi-factor strategies. It also includes conducting empirical research on equity markets, evaluating and improving index performance and robustness, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and communicating research insights through internal presentations, client discussions, and external publications.

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a quant research role focused on equities.
  • Strong understanding of equity factors, risk premia, and systematic investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a quantitative research and coding environment (proficiency in Python).

The ideal candidate will combine strong quantitative skills with hands-on experience in a research-driven coding environment and a solid understanding of equity factor investing.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who can design, develop, and enhance quantitative equity index methodologies, conduct empirical research on equity markets, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to transition research models into scalable production frameworks. They should also be able to monitor and refine existing indices, identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, and communicate research insights through internal presentations, client discussions, and external publications.

Skills

The successful candidate will have a strong quantitative background, proficiency in Python, and hands-on experience in a research-driven coding environment. They should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay

The salary range is $155,000 - $285,000 USD annually, plus benefits and bonus.
