Equipment Transporter
Summary
Responsible for transporting of equipment, in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
Responsibilities
- Maintains good communication with decontamination lead technician, reports all problems, delays and completions immediately.
- Moves carts and other designated equipment as directed, following all policies and procedures pertaining to the movement of equipment.
- Ensures proper care and handling of equipment, ensures courtesy and professionalism is given to all customers.
- Maintains transporting equipment, ensures equipment is stored in designated areas when not in use.
- Understands and complies with all universal precautions/procedures.
- Maintains knowledge to backup other departments.
- Washes all carts using approved methods by manual or automated means prior to being returned to service.
- Handles soiled linen and ensures proper segregation of material to linen cages.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Previous Materials Management experience.
Licenses / Certifications
Physical Requirements: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
Pay
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
