Responsibilities

• Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
• Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
• Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
• Become certified on a variety of tool types
• Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
• Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Maintenance and repair of complex electronic and mechanical systems
• Analyze tool performance data to detect problems and suggest improvements
• Attention to detail and strong quality of workmanship
• Communication within your team and cooperation with MFG and Process to ensure no interruption to production
• Great work ethic and ability to pick up on new things
• Multitasking and handling stressful environments with ability to juggle multiple items and requests
• Mechanical and equipment troubleshooting related experience encouraged: Automotive, Home Appliance Repair, Electrical work all accepted

Physical Requirements

• Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting
• Frequent coordinated use of hands

• Pushing or pulling 66 pounds
• Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat

Eligibility

• All applicants must possess legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
• Must successfully pass a background check and a drug screening (cannabis use not tested in compliance with Washington state regulations)

Schedule

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. Typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next. This position will potentially be for night shift.

Pay

For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
