Equipment Technician
The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Other job responsibilities may include Point of Care Testing (POCT), performing preventative maintenance, maintaining stock supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly patient/department environment which is in compliance with infection control, safety, OSHA, and other regulatory processes.
- Practices optimal infection control processes both in patient contact and equipment cleaning/maintenance.
- Ensures that supplies, equipment and instrumentation are available.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and collaborates with HTM.
- Completes special assignments within designated time frames.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
