What To Expect We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our data collection team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data collection hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the consistent manufacturing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of data collection equipment. Shifts: 8:00AM-4:30PM or 4:00PM-12:30AM or 12:00AM-8:30AM Schedules: Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday and Thursday-Monday What You'll Do Assemble prototype and production-level data collection hardware, ensuring consistent qualityPerform all levels of assembly, including building, testing, and inspecting custom wire harnesses with high attention to detailCollaborate with various teams to design, implement, and test new hardware configurationsDevelop and maintain best practices for manufacturing and deployment, identifying areas for improvement to maximize quality and reduce downtimeTroubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, ensuring that equipment is fully functional and reliable before being deployed - Will utilize company vehicles to support offside needs up to 20% of the time.Utilize internal tracking tools to manage hardware-related issues throughout the manufacturing process and implementation What You'll Bring Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude and mechanical inclinationProficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues across various platforms and systemsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issuesA valid driver's license is required Benefits As a part-time Tesla employee, you will be eligible for: 401(k) with employer match Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time Tesla Babies program Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Pet Insurance Earned Wage Access: Real-time pay access paid daily, subject to eligibility and schedule (applicable for below Sr. Managers levels) Expected Compensation Engineering Tech I - $21.96 - $32.94/hourEngineering Tech II - $25.92 - $38.88/hour + benefits for all levels Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
