Under minimum supervision, the Equipment Tech responds to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinder needs throughout the hospital. Responsible for the maintenance of respiratory care equipment and supplies. Works to support the Respiratory care service staff. Assists with handling of compressed gas cylinders and supports preventive maintenance needs with the Clinical engineering staff by tracking and bringing equipment for service. Performs all duties that are required of a respiratory care support services technician.

Requirements

  • Preferred: High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Must be enrolled in an approved Respiratory program

Pay

$17.00 to $24.75 per hour, based on experience
