Full-time, non-exempt union position reporting to the Plant Manager with minimal travel required.
About the role
Entry-level position focused on learning to install, maintain, and repair various coffee-related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, and repairs all necessary equipment at customer locations or as directed.
- Maintains company vehicle and parts inventory as assigned.
- Works with all parties to meet the quality standards set by Hawaii Coffee Company.
- Maintains company equipment and parts inventory at the company warehouse as assigned.
- Keeps a current record of staff members’ whereabouts and availability.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Certificate of Completion from Electronics/Electrical Trade School, or equivalent military training, or Automotive Technicians Trade School training.
- Preferred experience in electronics, electrical, or plumbing fields.
- Moderate computer skills; training will be provided for specialized programs.
- Well-developed verbal and written English communication skills.

- Constantly: Stand, manually manipulate, speak, lift/carry 12 lbs or less.
- Frequently: Lift/carry 10 lbs or less.
- Occasionally: Walk, lift/carry 11-20 lbs, reach outward, bend.
- Not Applicable: Sit, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, push/pull, grasp, reach above shoulder.
Work Environment
- Occasional exposure to adverse conditions such as heat, cold, wet/humid conditions, precarious and dusty environments.
- Possible risk of electrical shock, cuts, bruises, and burns.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- On-call after hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
