Equipment Sales Manager

About the role

The Equipment Sales Manager manages all facets of construction sales and assists the Vice President in all construction-related matters. This role provides support and guidance to personnel involved in the company’s construction sales force.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the General Line marketing plan and sales forecasts
• Prepare and manage budgets
• Direct the development and implementation of construction sales policies
• Oversee sales reps and their professional development
• Help resolve customer concerns or issues
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations

Requirements

• Ability to positively motivate and manage others
• Strong knowledge of construction industry
• Experience in inventory control, forecasting, ordering and terms management
• More than five years’ experience in sales or sales management
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills
• Ability to drive and valid driver’s license required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Previous experience in heavy equipment sales
