About the role
Altorfer Rents is a leading provider of high-quality rental equipment for various industries, including construction, industrial, and agricultural sectors. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair rental fleet and customer owned construction equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of rental equipment including, but not limited to, construction machinery, industrial tools, and agricultural equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out effective repairs on downed equipment.
- Conduct pre-rental and post-rental inspections to ensure equipment is in top working order.
- Order and replace parts as necessary to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the store operations team to manage equipment availability and readiness.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in equipment repair preferred.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Adequate reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Certification in equipment repair (preferred but not required).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

$35.35 - $41.88 per hour USD
Schedule
700AM – 400PM, Monday- Friday (Saturdays & OT when needed).
