Equipment Rental Specialist

About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Equipment Rental Specialist) to support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction and industrial equipment. This position serves as the Company's front line of contact with the customer, responsible for understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders. The role requires strong administrative skills and an ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times.

What you'll bring

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver's license required
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Previous equipment rental industry experience
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Physical demands

This role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $23.52 – 27.93 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
