Equipment Rental Specialist

About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position serves as the Company's front line of contact with the customer, with the purpose of understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and an ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support telephone and walk-in customers with equipment rentals
• Understand customer equipment needs and negotiate orders
• Place orders for construction/industrial equipment rentals
• Deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude
• Perform strong administrative tasks related to rental transactions

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Previous equipment rental industry experience
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Physical Demands

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching
• Lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors when required by the job

Pay

Base Pay Range: $24.58 - 29.19
