Equipment Rental Specialist

About the role

Inside Sales Representative (Equipment Rental Specialist) is an inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk‑in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. As the company’s front line of contact with the customer, the role involves understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude while exercising strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting telephone and walk‑in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment
• Understanding customer equipment needs and negotiating and placing orders
• Providing strong administrative support
• Delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times
• Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment

Skills

• Previous equipment rental industry experience
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process (preferred)
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) (preferred in some locations)
