Equipment Rental Specialist

About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the company’s front line of contact with customers. This role involves understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment
• Negotiate and place orders while maintaining strong administrative and customer service skills
• Work with an incredible team to ensure customer needs are met and orders are fulfilled

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment

Skills

• Previous equipment rental industry experience
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
