About the role

The Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for processing and inspecting medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and managing the associated accessories, in a district office. Data entry associated with these tasks is also handled.

Responsibilities

  • Completes all paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stays up to date on the medical equipment in the fleet.
  • Cleans and inspects medical equipment for functionality, following approved written procedures.
  • Demonstrates attention to details.
  • Ships and receives medical equipment and supplies.
  • Assists with inventory management.
  • Performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior work experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
  • Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

Knowledge and physical requirements include:

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule
