Equipment Operator (Water Metering/ Water Distribution)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the Underground Utilities or other closely related experience (construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical or similar).
• Possession or the ability to possess an Ohio EPA Class I Distribution license within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain residency as required by the City.

Other Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Extensive knowledge of water distribution, sanitary collection systems, and storm sewer collection systems.
