Equipment Operator Warehouse

About the role

The equipment operator at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse. Duties include driving reach trucks to assigned locations, delivering product to designated areas, stacking and moving empty pallets and wire baskets, locating received product, ensuring correct paperwork, and operating a wrap machine.

Responsibilities

• Drives reach truck to assigned location to pull product
• Delivers product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped
• Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination
• Limits all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location
• Ensures all carriers receive the correct paperwork
• Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment
• Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

Requirements

• Education equivalent to four years of high school
• Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack

Qualifications

To succeed, candidates should be able to operate a reach truck for long periods, frequently bend, stoop, push, and pull tools and boxes. They should also be able to work in various temperature conditions and lift heavy objects.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is on a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM-2:00 PM.
